Executive summary
The aim of this deliverable is to identify and specify the parameters required for the virtual prototyping of ship design and production, but also the parameters necessary for the life cycle and risk analysis followed by the cost assessment. The parameters were collected from a variety of sources, based on the requirements defined in Tasks 3.2 and 3.3 of the SHIPLYS project’s work plan. The deliverable comprises of the “Parameter Lists” file, given in the appendix, which specifies the parameters in detail (units, formulas, source of data etc.) and this document that gives a broader explanation of the physical or engineering meaning of each parameter.
